Wood Fire Pottery 2022

In Fall of 2022 I finally got the opportunity to wood fire some pots. This body of work was fired in a cone 10 train kiln, experimenting with ten different slips and four different glazes on a white stoneware, medium tan stoneware, and brown stoneware. The pot's internal kiln locations were not known at the time of firing, save for three pieces, as I was unable to attend the kiln loading and unloading due to my work schedule. I feel I would have a more accurate record of my results had I had a chance to attend even one of those days, and will have to plan to take days off work if I get another opportunity to wood fire.
